Rehabilitation Coordinator

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with therapy and rehabilitation management and colleagues to select, develop and coordinate programs for physical therapy and other therapeutic activities. 
• Establish work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space and equipment availability.
• Design and organize therapeutic activities and programs to assist patients in learning and/or redeveloping work and life-management skills. 
• Monitor and report upon the work activities of therapists, nurses and/or other health care staff.
• Direct physical therapy programs and staff in healthcare facility to rehabilitate impaired, injured and/or diseased patients.
• Review and analyze facility activities and data to aid program planning and to improve service utilization.
• Maintain communication between upper management and subordinate health care service staff and personnel.
• Assist in the planning, implementation, and administration of programs and services in a health care facility, including personnel administration, training, and coordination of nursing and therapist personnel.
